Welcome to Poorple! My name’s Shazmeen and I’m a 20-something from blogger Mississauga, Canada. I started out my life in the comforts of the Middle East surrounded by a wonderful family and great friends throughout elementary, middle and highschool. Moving forward, I was off to Lahore, Pakistan to experiment with independence and find some more great friends who went on to become my family at university.

Fast forward 4 years and here I am with an undergrad degree in hand and my first full-time job in tow, eager to turn a new page: (seriously) using this blog as a platform for my biggest passion – baking.

Throughout my journey from country to country, this blog has always been a safe haven for me; a place where I like to find ways to bridge the gap between what is and what could be. This blog has grown just as much as I have, and I would love for my readers to be just as much a part of this evolution.
